FRED FIREWATER
If you are looking for ALL AROUND, Fred is you man! Fred Firewater AKA Fred is an ‘08 model standing at 14'3 hands. His biggest flex is that he is a grandson of Firewater Flit and that lineage for sure needs no introduction. He has sired more champions in every division than any other stallion. Which probably has a lot to do with Fred’s ability to go any direction.
Fred is by Cash N Balance (Dash For Cash x Lela Barnes Bug) who racked up almost $20k in his track career so he is for sure not lacking in speed.
Fred is a true gentleman. He is super fun to ride and has no nasty habits, buck or bite. He has a very kind and quiet and is always the first to meet you at the gate.
Fred has no alley issues, happily goes to town and minds his manners, he has been to jackpots and rodeos and handles both atmospheres like the champ that he is.
Fred would love to take a handy youth rider to the next level in Jr High or High School rodeo. When I tell you Fred has it going on, I mean it!
He is a jam up heel horse and loves to breakaway! He is easily running 2D/3D barrel times (and could slide into 1D with the clean up of his 1st barrel)! Fred has even been started on poles and high lopes them with ease and will be effortlessly placing in the top when he’s finished!
I know Fred sounds too good to be true and he really isn’t. He’s one of the good ones, a once in a lifetimer…BUT, he roars. He has had the tie back surgery and it absolutely does not affect his performance! He’s just kinda noisy. Draw It Out Breathe To Run helps him SO MUCH.
If you’re looking for that all around get it done red headed gentleman, Fred is your man! Cherokee, IA. $13,000.
STRAIT TOXIC FUEL
Strait Toxic Fuel, aka “Diva” is a 5 year old grey AQHA mare standing at 16’ hands tall. Diva was started as a barrel horse. This mare is bred to the hilt, and is going to make someone a jam up horse for someone that has the time to put into her. Paid into Future Fortunes.
This mare has been on the trails in Arizona and Iowa. She has also been to some cattle sortings. She’s been in the box and has had a rope swung off of her. This mare is cowy, quick and gritty! Would have the potential to make an all around mare. She is currently running 3D/4D time with so much more to give.
Great with other horses. Will stand tied, for the farrier, bathes, etc. Loads and unloads, hauls down the road like a dream. Will haul alone or with other horses just fine. Easy going, and great demeanor. Not marish. No spook, buck, rear, or bite. This mare is smart and will call your bluff if you let her. Recommended for a confident rider, youth or adult.
The owner has decided to go a different direction and will consider trades for a turn key horse that’s ready to run. Must be an easy going, point and go horse. Nothing older than 13 years old will be considered for trade.
Full set of x-rays from the fall of 2022. She is 100% vetted and clean. Vet records are available upon request. Located in Onawa, IA. Asking $17,000 OBO.

What some of our pleased customers have been saying...
"I would highly recommend CM Performance Horses, I took my horse Skittles to be put on the barrel pattern. Chyenne was so pleasant to work with. My horse had a great stall and pen to be in during her stay there. About a week in, Chyenne called me and said something feels off. She didn't want to go any further with her of any chance she may make whatever was bothering her more sore. I was beyond shocked to hear this news, but was so glad Chyenne noticed the signs instead of hurting her more and pushing her too far to make the condition worse. A real trainer cares about the horse and not the income. My mare indeed had issues with her hock and was diagnosed navicular after listening to Chyenne's concerns. If you want a trainer that is honest and loyal to you and your horse, Chyenne is your lady!"

"During the 2021 season, I had reached out to Chyenne about tuning up my barrel mare, Cookie. I can count on one hand the number of people I've let even sit on her, so deciding to send her off for 30 days was a well thought out decision. I watched numerous trainers close and far to study how they are with their hands and cues, their methods, and overall care of client horses as well as personal horses. Chyenne's horsemanship matched exactly what I strive for and look for in others. When Cookie went to Chyenne, she would occasionally hit the middle of the 2D, but was more consistent in the 3D. After just 30 days, Chyenne had Cookie working so well off her hind end while still maintaining her individual style as a runner. My biggest concern was someone trying to force a bendy style on a horse that has a stiff style. The first run I made after getting Cookie back landed us 2nd in the 2D! With Chyenne's help, we ended the year 4th in the 2D at State NBHA. She has been so helpful with getting Cookie working correctly and giving me advice as a rider. "

"I would love to feature your feedback about your experiences and product purchases through CM Performance!"

"I rode Dunkin tonight and he did well! I'm very impressed with how he came out given the hardships/frustrations he gave you. I just wanted to say I seriously appreciate you and all the hard work and talent you have! Thank you so much I appreciate it. I'm excited to start this journey with him. I've been looking for a replacement from my horse Maverick! If it wasn't for you I'd probably still be looking!"
